I had someone tell me today that, I don’t look like a mom of four.... ummmm you don’t just get biceps like these or toothpaste on your mirror like this, without lifting a little more than 40-50lbs,
On a regular basis,
While doing other things,
And walking up and down stairs. 💪🏼
🍬 Bubble Yum or Hubba Bubba? 🍬 Like a human sized piece of bubble gum...except I ain’t just a piece, I’m the whole dang pack...glutes and hammies. Swipe to see part of my workout. I’ve really been concentrating on movement as opposed to just piling on the weight. Focused on using the targeted muscle more and minimizing accessory muscle use. Still recovering from my pneumonia, but getting stronger every day. Seeing slow progress, but definitely in a better place than last year. Been on a fasting diet for about a month now. And i have lost -5kg! I freaking love it. It’s not even a diet because i have been eating like this my hole life. The only difference is that I’m not eating anything at night. No late meal, no unnecessary calories and more. Night time I’ll have green tea without suger of course. I have google this diet a lot and got a lot of facts before I start trying it just because I was curious. I’ve also gotten a lot of facts from @coachmofin wish was A big help. Check him out if you want to know more please. I can’t wait to get back to the gym. But for now the gym will still have to wait ☹️ But I am happy for my results from my diet tho😁💃🏽 _________________________________________________________

Total lost 40kg .. sejak join program ,alhamdulillah period mula dtg setiap bulan .. bila jalan laju dada dah tak sakit .. dah tak pernah kena cramp simpul biawak ..hidung berdarah jarang kena .. bila berdiri atau duduk lama tumit dah tak sakit .. dah tak pernah kena letop pinggang yg tak boleh bergerak ..
This shouldn’t come as a shocker.... A lot of extra time is something I don’t have much of so I like to cut corners when I can. Dry shampoo is LIFE! But so is my shake! I’m so thankful that I can whip my superfoods up in just a matter of seconds.
This chocolate goodness is my daily non-negotiable. I typically drink it every morning before a crazy day of teaching! BUT today it came to my rescue when I realized it was 3 pm and I hadn’t put much in my system all day and Em’s girlfriends were about to show up for their sleepover! Eeek!
Quick and easy doesn’t have to be junk. Once again my shake saved my booty! Just scoop, scoop, scoop and shake, shake, shake! BOOM!
Now off to spend the evening with a bunch of energetic 11 year olds!
It’s not often he wants to participate in pictures anymore or show his true smile. So when he launched from the bed to be involved I took full advantage of the opportunity and caught some memorable shots🤗we had fun!
Besides that I wanted to share a few exercises from the program I did last year that got me bomb results! If you’ve been following you know it’s geared towards gaining and toning that bootay🍑
Coming out of a little slump I decided to revisit this program and customize it a tad bit more. If you didn’t realize we’re nearly 4 short months away from summer ☀️ 👙 it’s time to buckle down y’all!
So here’s a few exercises for ya to try at home or even the gym. All you need is a light to medium exercise band! Mine are 9”
Perform 2 sets x 15 reps
Exercise:1️⃣ Glute Bridge ups•lying on your back with band 3-4” above knees, feet shoulder width. Thrust your hips up while driving heels into the floor until hips are flat.
Exercise:2️⃣ Glute Bridge to clam•move feet together. Thrust up and press knees apart at top while continuing to squeeze.
Exercise:3️⃣ Glute Bridge ups feet together• heels touching toes pointing out.
Exercise:4️⃣ Quad ped position (hands and knees) one leg straight back with flexed foot. Raise up and tap for back down.
Exercise:5️⃣ Quad ped position. Lift leg up with flexed foot and bring to outside and then across body over opposite leg, kinda like a rainbow.
Exercise:6️⃣ Quad ped position. Lift leg up and trace a small circle. 1st set clock wise. Second set counter clockwise.
For each exercise do not rush! Concentrate on activating your glutes and squeezing during each exercise especially at the end motion!
Hopefully the descriptions are enough to try them out. Peep my stories for a few! Once I figure out my phone storage issue and free up some space I’ll begin including videos!

Do you ever have a workout you hate and just skip? This would be the one I would normally want to skip. It’s cardio, it’s repetitive, and it’s tiring. My husband use to do this workout with me just to help me push through. But today I made myself do it. You can’t only do the things you like of you want to see growth. What things do you have to make yourself do that you would rather skip?

Strong as a mother! I’m stronger today than I’ve ever been before. Not so much physically, as mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
That growth and strength showed today. The mental game is always so much harder than the physical game. I can’t tell you how many times my mind has limited my ability- how many times I’ve let my mind limit my ability.
We truly are limitless beings. The only limits we have are the limits we put on ourselves. I’m still breaking the constraints my mind tries to put on me. But today showed me just how much progress I’ve made, and while there’s still work to be done, I’m celebrating that win!

Late post, it’s been a busy day! But here is some of today’s work.
To make myself stick to it, these are my monthly goals for the year! Why monthly? Because making a list with no deadlines means I may slip up and try to do some of them "later" and then find out it's a bit too late to get started... With monthly goals, this allows me to see what's coming up and gradually prepare myself to have transitioned fully into completing the goal by the last day of the month.
January's goal was to get into the habit of drinking green tea at least once a day. I had to set a reminder on my phone (which still reminds me daily), and I've only had 2 slip-ups in the past 7-ish weeks! Now it's a part of my daily routine and is a healthy habit I can keep maintaining indefinitely.
February's goal is to reduce my Splenda intake. 🙄 Agh... so as a person who struggles with the effects of sugar making my insulin levels go crazy, but also being HIGHLY addicted to sweets, I've resorted to ungodly amounts of Splenda in literally everything I eat and drink. And I'm serious... it's literally added to 99% of what I put into my body. And also in absurd amounts each time. I'm aware this is not a healthy practice, even if it assists with keeping the insulin chilled out but satisfying my sweet tooth, but I have GOT to lower the amount I consume by about 75% just to fall into a "reasonable" level of consumption. I considered torturing myself and cutting it out entirely, but I'm not ready to live that life yet. (And also HATE other sweeteners. Nothing compares to my beloved sucralose nor ever will. Even real sugar can gtfo at this point.) I've decreased a ton so far, but still have a couple of weeks left to be more consistent about it and try to adjust to not having as much daily. Does this suck? Yes. But will it be healthier for my body? Also yes. So I'm doing it.

You ever hear a kid tell you you’re a hard worker? When it’s YOUR kid that tells you, it seriously lights you up (I know my friends with kids will totally get what I mean here💜)!!! .
I work as much as I can to make everything that needs to work work. So sometimes there are things I have to say “no” to. As a mom, it’s SO easy to focus on my shortcomings, but I have quickly learned that in these young and formative years, presence is so much more important than presents. Yes, I love to spoil my babies, but it means so much more to know that when they look up for support and encouragement in their activities I am there. I try my best to always smile and not gripe when I’m tired (although I fail there sometimes too). I try my best to use my moments of frustration as teaching opportunities that hard work and dedication always pay off when we grind it out. So to hear, “Mom, you’re a really hard worker!” by one of people I do it all for, just about made my heart burst!💜 We can not lead simply with words, but we must set the precedent with our actions 👊💪💜 happy Saturday y’all!!

I am starting with high reps and low or no weights to build up some endurance so I keep these mom joints happy! Let me know if you give it a try!! - 15 band squats - 15 dumbbell shoulder press - 15 dumbbell bent over row
- 15 split squats (each leg)
- 5 pushups to 20 shoulder taps
- 15 Kettlebell deadlifts
- 1 min plank - 15 donkey kicks (each leg)
- 15 fire hydrants (each leg)
Imagine thinking you’re not good enough and the whole time, you’re TOO GOOD. ❤️
