Hey there! 👋🏼 I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself and tell you all a little about me and my life!
🔹My name is Maria and I’m 25 y/o! I’ve been in the Army National Guard for 7yrs and a fitness enthusiast for probably about the same length of time.
🔹I’m fortunate enough to be married to one amazing man! He’s my best friend, biggest supporter and one of the hardest workers I know. ❤️
🔹I’m a dog mom to our wonderful pit-bull who we rescued just this last year, his name is Ranger! 🐶
🔹My life is mainly consumed by fitness and being a full-time Recruiter in the Army National Guard.
🔹I enjoy waking up nice and early on the daily between (0400-0430) because I’ve got dreams and they’re not going to happen by sleeping in. 💤
🔹Aside from fitness my other hobbies include eating. I love to eat “healthy” but believe it or not I typically eat what I want because you don’t need to be on a crazy restrictive diet to achieve your fitness goals...moderation is key! Your relationship with food doesn’t have to be negative. I enjoy doughnuts and ice cream just as much as I enjoy my chicken and rice.🍦
🔹I will be competing in my first marathon EVER in just 5 weeks and I couldn’t be more excited/nervous! I’m constantly trying to push past my limits and better myself daily. ❤️
🔹I love my career in the Army and I’m very grateful for every opportunity it’s provided for me. The wonderful thing about the military is that if you work hard enough for something, your opportunities are limitless. In the process of some big moves hopefully!😏
🔹Last year I took a leap of faith to start my own health and wellness business with an incredible company called Arbonne. I started this journey because I know it’s going to change my life and allow others to do that same. I love nothing more than to help others and what better way to start a business where your success is manifested by helping others! ✨

I’m not even gonna lie, I’m a bit frustrated!! 😤 I decided Jan was a shit month, but guess what.. Feb isn’t much better 🤣🤷🏽♀️ It’s not like I feel down or anything but I just can’t seem to find my motivation to workout. And when I don’t workout.. well I feel like my day is ruined anyway so I eat crap 🤦🏽♀️ I finally got back at it this week until I got sick 🤧 So now I’m in bed, super annoying!!
But you know what, there’s more to life than a great shape. And to be honest, I like my current shape, it’s a bit more curvy but nothing wrong with that right?!😌 It’s good to realise that “fitness bodies” are hard work come and with sacrifices. Sacrifices I’m willing to make most of the time, because at that moment they actually don’t feel like a sacrifice.. if that makes sense 🤔 But lately I just wasn’t having it 🤷🏽♀️ My prio’s were elsewhere and that’s ok!
I feel like I need to set some short term and long term goals to get my engine running. Bought a nice goal planner book for it, but before I got the chance to write my goals down Chacha destroyed it (Swipe) 😩 Guess what I’m trying to say is.. Chacha is what happens when you’re busy making other plans 🤣😭 Life doesn’t alway go as planned and that can be frustrating. yeah I’ve been drinking protein shakes and taking creatine so I guess you could say I’m a #fitnessenthusiast now, might flex and add that in my bio so people know that I’m into fitness you know because I often go to the gym in order to do some fitness stuff. Fitness am I right?
Actually I'm not very good at doing Ab workouts.
I haven't really care much about my Ab muscles so far. Because I believed that my total body workouts can have a good effect on burning my belly fat. And from my experience, through running and intense full body workout, It can basically reduce fat and abs can come out. Then getting nice abs is made by the movement of contracting and releasing.🤔
For me, having a sixpack wasn't even my goal, but it was keeping my belly flat as much as I can every day just to look good in dressed or naked myself.👙 I definitely know the fact that Abs are made in the kitchen. And since I knew about my eating, I've been in a state of almost giving up to have a nice sixpack.😅
From today's my ab motivation, I think It is a good idea to have some challenge for a week or a few weeks to reveal my ab someday.
But the reason why I did the workout is that there was nothing that I could do without ab workouts according to my weekly workout plan. It was a good sequence for me to workout abs after push, pull, leg, upper, lower body and full body workout. So I had my last day of this week with my abs and cardio training that makes me feel so cool!
It's nice to feel sweaty during ab workouts. My lungs are burning, the heart is pounding and my body is getting hot during the run!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Moreover, my legs are evenly full of fat and muscles to be a good weight for my ab workout effectively. 😂😂
